Description
Job Summary:
The region's healthcare provider is seeking an Ultrasonographer Echo (ECHO Tech) in Idaho Falls. This position involves performing ultrasound testing primarily for cardiac patients, with high acuity cases ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to support their eligibility for the role. The role involves working a day shift and contributing to a busy, fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
- Shift Time: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with scheduled call at night and on weekends
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), current registry or certification in Adult Echo and vascular ultrasound, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and at least 2 years of experience or accredited coursework in Echo-cardiology. Candidates must also be actively working toward attaining relevant registries in all specialty areas.
- Additional Information: The position requires exposure to body fluids and blood due to the urgent and sensitive nature of cardiac testing. The work environment can be stressful due to the high acuity and stat procedures. Candidates should be team players, flexible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced setting. Dress code is scrubs, following the assigned unit dress code to ensure a professional appearance.
