Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position available in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves providing rehabilitative therapy for patients with neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses within an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their Utah state license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- Certifications and Education: MSOT or OTD degree from an accredited occupational therapy program; Utah state license to practice; BLS certification up to date; Pass the NBCOT exam and renew as appropriate.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, Utah occupational therapist license, MSOT or OTD degree from an accredited program, pass the NBCOT exam, 0 years of experience for initial qualification, ideally previous acute care experience, ICU experience preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with start times between 7am to 8:30am, and occasional late orthopedic shifts from 9:30am to 8pm; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The team is close-knit and supportive, sharing an office space among all therapy disciplines. The department values respect, inclusivity, collaboration, and fostering team relationships outside of work, including activities like book clubs, outdoor recreation, and social gatherings.
