Description
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist in Concord, North Carolina. The position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, verifying orders, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role requires a thorough understanding of MRI protocols and clinical procedures to support diverse patient needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Concord, North Carolina
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or NMTCB with ARRT (MRI) or ARMRI, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of MRI experience, current license if applicable, and the ability to verify orders and assist with patient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced imaging techniques, pediatric and cardiac imaging, and familiarity with departmental protocols.
- Additional Information:
- Will accept first-time travelers.
- Department serves ED, inpatient, outpatient, and observation patients, with diagnoses including stroke, seizures, cancer, diabetic foot, pancreatic cysts, and Crohns disease.
- Imaging equipment includes GE 1.5 Tesla SIGNA Artist 450W and Siemens 3T Skyra systems.
- Department provides cardiac and pediatric imaging, sometimes with anesthesia.
- Support services include guest transport, child life, and overnight technician assistance.
- Orientation includes administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policies) and departmental training.
