Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered in Memphis, Tennessee. The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves assessing patients, operating ventilatory equipment, and performing various respiratory procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; education/degree as required; no specific years of experience necessary.
- Additional Information: Provides direct patient care including ventilator management, chest physiotherapy, and other respiratory interventions. Performs laboratory testing, monitors patient responses, and communicates with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness. Maintains accurate documentation and billing records.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
