Job Summary
An Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in Greenwood, Indiana. The position involves working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility specializing in adult care. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to patients recovering from conditions such as brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, cardiac, and orthopedic issues. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details

• Location: Greenwood, Indiana
• Shift: Day shift, starting at 8:00 am, with a schedule of 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensed in Indiana; 2 or more years of experience preferred; BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous inpatient rehabilitation facility experience; adult inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required to inpatient rehabilitation units within the facility as needed
• Additional Information: Experience in IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) settings highly preferred. The caseload typically includes 6-7 patients daily. Emphasis on teamwork and adaptability to a fast-paced environment with short patient stays. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient discharge to home.
