Description

Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves working within the neuro-interventional radiology unit, performing diagnostic cerebral angiograms, stenting, embolizations, stroke thrombectomies, and other neurovascular procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Shift: 4x10-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 18:00
Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT Registered Technologist (RT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of experience in interventional radiology or related field, Missouri license or eligibility, and flu vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI) certification.
Special Responsibilities: Operating a Siemens Bi-plane C-Arm for neurovascular imaging, positioning for image acquisition, post-processing images, and circulating cases. No scrub experience required.
Additional Information: The technologist will collaborate with neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons. The department performs pediatric procedures and neurovascular interventions, utilizing specialized equipment including Siemens and GE ultrasound systems. The position involves call responsibility from 1600 to 0730 during weekdays and weekend call from Friday 1600 to Monday 0730, with approximately 3-4 weeknight calls over a 13-week assignment. No float to sister facilities is required.
