Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist in inpatient rehabilitation is needed in Gainesville, Georgia. This role involves evaluating and treating neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their license in Georgia on the first day of employment. The position offers a day/weekend rotation schedule and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Shift: Day/weekend rotation with 8 hours shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: License in Georgia; Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy; 0 years of experience required; Experience in evaluation and treatment of neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric populations
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient rehabilitation, neuro specialty, and familiarity with GG Quality Indicators
Additional Information:
- Patient ratios of 4-6 patients per therapist
- Equipment used includes Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt table, Car simulator, Chattanooga tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
- Clinical EMR system: EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
- Supervisor: Michelle Emerson, PT, DPT, Director of Therapy
- Patient populations include adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, and critical illness cases
- Common diagnoses include CVA, hip fracture, and debility
- Personality fit: down-to-earth, fun with treatments and co-workers, easy-going
