Job Summary:
The position of Mammographer is based in Sacramento, California, specializing in outpatient mammography services. This role involves providing high-quality imaging procedures, including 3-D mammography and digital mammography, within a clinical outpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sacramento, California
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, 5 days a week from 0730 to 1600
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as a Mammographer (M), and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration (R), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid state license, minimum of 2 years of mammography experience, experience with Epic electronic medical record system, and ability to comply with travel requirements within 50 miles.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Specific experience with 3-D Mammography, digital mammography, digital quality assurance procedures, Hologic 3D systems, isolation precautions/personal protective equipment (PPE), radiation safety, and screening mammograms.
  • Submission must include a copy of certifications in hand at the time of submittal, a Sutter Cover Sheet, and two references obtained within the last year.
  • Candidates must be able to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing and hold a valid state license.
  • Background screening policies should be reviewed prior to submission; candidates must disclose any background hits or DUIs.
  • Candidates must provide accurate work history for the past 7 years and may be required to verify employment if verification is unsuccessful.
  • Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
