Description
Job Summary:
A Mammographer radiologic technologist position is available in Sacramento, California. The role involves performing routine and specialized breast imaging procedures to support the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, M (Mammography) certification, license valid at the time of submission, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record system experience.
- Float: Not specified.
- Additional Information:
- Experience in 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Universal Precautions, and Core Measures.
- Must be available within 3-5 days for lab work.
- Candidates must have a current Nursys license within the last 2 weeks and be able to submit a copy of all certifications, which must be in hand and approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Must provide a Sutter Cover Sheet, two references obtained within the last year, and a verified 7-year work history.
- Background check disclosure is required, including any background hits or DUIs.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required.
