Job Summary:
The outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position is located in Berkeley, California. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient mobility, relieving pain, and restoring functional ability in outpatient settings. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day. The position requires a commitment to patient care excellence and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, minimum of two years of outpatient therapy experience, prior charge experience, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic EMR experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required (Summit campus as needed).
• Additional Information:
  • Must have at least two years of outpatient experience for submission eligibility.
  • Previous charge and charting experience preferred; Epic EMR experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must be available to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
  • Accurate 7-year work history verification is required.
  • Vaccinations including COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required.
  • Candidates must confirm awareness of lower local rates if they are within 50 miles and are accepted as locals.
  • Background screening must be noted if it includes any breaches such as DUIs or background hits.
  • A copy of all certifications, including BLS, must be in hand at submission.
  • The position involves working Sundays, with floating duties at Summit campus as needed.
