Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in a small town located in Washington. The role involves providing outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care services across acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. The therapist will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatrics, with a variety of diagnoses including pelvic floor, post-stroke, total joints, and pediatric autism. The position offers a flexible schedule with option for self-scheduling and is ideal for candidates adaptable to different clinical areas and patient needs.
Job Details
- Location: 126 S Whitcomb Avenue, Tonasket, Washington, 98855
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience; valid license to submit; located within the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings; ability to serve a wide range of patient diagnoses and age groups; flexibility to float across different clinical areas; traveler experience preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The department consists of a team with PTs, OTs, clerks, and managers. There are 10 therapists available as resources, and the position is traveler-friendly. The community is characterized by outdoor activities, lakes, a small-town environment, and a 30% Spanish-speaking population. The facility emphasizes professionalism with attire including khakis or scrubs and provides 1-2 shifts of department-specific orientation with a preceptor.
- Charting System: TruBridge - Evident
- Shift Notes: Mon-Fri with some flexibility in scheduling, managed by the department manager. Weekend and holiday requirements are none.
