Description
Job Summary:
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin area is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a hospital with a Level III Trauma Center designation and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The organization holds Magnet Designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with high patient acuity, primarily providing radiologic imaging services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Wisconsin License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 2 years of acute or surgical experience.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with start times flexible between 0630 and 0730 depending on staffing needs. Work cycle includes Monday through Friday and alternating weekends, with one day off during the week before and after working a weekend. On-call responsibilities include one shift per week, from 0630 to 1400, 1400 to 2230, or 2230 to 0630.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing surgical/procedure imaging, fluoroscopy procedures such as ERCPs and bronchoscopies, as well as general radiography for orthopedics, general, and spine cases. The average number of patients per technician per day is 15-20. The position includes providing surgery scrubs, and parking is free. The culture is high-paced with high patient acuity, and the candidate must adhere to the facilitys orientation process.
