Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer specializing in Echocardiography (Echo) in Inverness, Florida. This position involves performing general and vascular ultrasound procedures, including trans thoracic and trans esophageal echocardiography, within a busy hospital ultrasound department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Inverness, Florida, United States
• Position Type: Ultrasonographer Echo
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts (AM & PM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 06/16/2026
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have experience in Echo procedures, possess relevant certifications, and hold necessary licensure. Experience in General and Vascular Ultrasound, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy, Trans Thoracic Echo, and Trans Esophageal Echo is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with advanced imaging certifications, team-oriented attitude, and excellent customer service skills are preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.

  • Beds Capacity: 204 beds
  • Staffing: Combination of PRN, part-time, and full-time team members, including 7 Echo and 10 Ultrasound staff
  • Staff Profile: Mix of team members working day and night shifts, including 2 Ultrasound and 2 Echo staff on day shifts and 1 Ultrasound on night shifts
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 for ultrasounds
  • Equipment: GE Logiq e95, GE Logiq e10
  • Typical Procedures: General and Vascular Ultrasound, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy, Trans Thoracic and Trans Esophageal Echocardiography

  • The traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
