Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Laboratory Support position is located in Burlingame, California. This role involves providing technical and patient support during a variety of interventional radiology procedures. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day. The position supports the Interventional Radiology Lab team, utilizing advanced procedural skills and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout interventions.

Job Details:

• Requires valid California State License at the time of submission.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Fluoro Permitall must be current and in hand at the time of submittal.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in interventional radiology or related fields.
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts with variable start times from 0700 to 1000, every third weekend, on-call as needed.
• Clinical skills include accessing/managing ports, angiography, angioplasty, embolization, device placement (e.g., pacemakers, AICDs), digital imaging (PACS), and other interventional procedures listed above.
• Candidates must have proficiency with Epic charting system experience preferred.
• A 7-year work history verification is required.
• All candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza.
• Must be available to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing and be prepared for a travel requirement of at least 50 miles; locals are accepted at a local rate.
• Background check: Disclosure of any background hits or DUIs required prior to submission.
• Modules: Average of 1-5 hours on non-billable e-learning modules during orientation; hours may vary by specialty.
