Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo specializing in pediatric and adult cardiac imaging is needed in Bradenton, Florida. The position involves performing routine and advanced echocardiography procedures, including transesophageal, arterial, and vascular ultrasound, across various patient populations from neonatal to geriatric. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Bradenton, FL
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days, shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid State/District license; American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) registration or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS/RCIS/RCDS) certification; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Associates Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program; minimum of 2 years of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures; experience with Echocardiology ultrasound system and all transducers including transesophageal, arterial, and vascular ultrasound. Pediatric experience is highly desirable.
- Additional Information: Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility; on-call required 1-2 nights per week, with weekend rotations involving call and PRN shifts; perform procedures on neonatal through geriatric patients in various settings including lab, bedside, ICU, ED, and OR.
- Candidate Submissions: Two suitable candidates have been submitted with relevant certifications (RCS, RDCS, BLS), extensive echocardiography experience, and relevant procedural expertise.
- Start Date: The earliest start date is 06/29/2026, with contract durations extending until early October 2026.
