Description

Job Summary:
The location is Tacoma, Washington. The position is for a Cardiac Cath Laboratory Technologist working in the Cath Lab department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing specialized support during cardiac procedures within the cath lab environment, with a focus on clinical expertise and procedural skills.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM with call time; minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 2 years of cardiac procedural experience, current licenses to submit, and certifications including ACLS, ARRT, and BLS. Candidates must hold the credential of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Experience with sedation, EPIC electronic medical record system, MacLab, and GE imaging equipment is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ICU or PACU experience would be advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a combined unit with a team approach across multiple suites, including cath lab and electrophysiology (EP). The candidate must be a team player with the ability to work past normal end times to complete cases. Focus is on cardiac procedural support, scrubbing, monitoring, documentation, and sedation. The facility operates within an acute care setting, and an organization-specific orientation of one week will be provided.
