Occupational Therapist Outpatient in Abilene, Texas. Job Details:

• Position: Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP)
• Location: Abilene, Texas
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience in long-term care (LTC) setting; Texas or compact license; documentation of date of loss (DOR) experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with DOR in a long-term care setting
• Additional Information: The position involves executing specialized therapy plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises to improve motor skills and coordination, teaching ADLs using adaptive techniques, instructing on adaptive equipment, recording detailed progress notes, and providing emotional support. Operational duties include preparing treatment areas, cleaning equipment, and scheduling. The start date is 08/10/2026.
