Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available at a healthcare organization in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves working in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing invasive cardiovascular procedures, and providing essential support to the clinical team. The position offers a day shift schedule on a 13-week assignment with opportunities to utilize specialized skills in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Shift: Days; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 09/07/2026
Required Qualifications: Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory certification, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Texas licensure or license eligibility, and prior experience with cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, pacemaker and defibrillator implants
Preferred Qualifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification, experience with electronic medical record systems such as Meditech, and familiarity with state and facility policies for cardiovascular procedures
Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds with a staff of 10, including 4 registered nurses and 3 cardiovascular technologists. The team is experienced with a focus on teamwork and patient safety. Dress code requires specific scrubs in ceil blue, and candidates must be team players. Call requirements include on-call hours from 1500 to 0630, with weekend on-call duties. The facility features advanced cardiovascular equipment and technologies, promoting a dynamic and innovative work environment.
