Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered EEG Technologist to join their Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in Dallas, Texas. This role involves performing routine and STAT EEG procedures, including continuous video EEG monitoring, with a focus on patient comfort and accurate data collection. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and have a minimum of three years of EEG experience. The position offers a rotating schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends.

Job Details:

  • Location: Dallas, TX
  • Schedule: Rotating weekends, 3-12 hour shifts (day or night), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) obtained through ABRET, minimum of 3 years' EEG experience, proficiency in routine and STAT EEG procedures, experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations, ability to monitor continuous video EEG and identify abnormal waveforms, experience with critical care patients, and familiarity with the 10/20 Electrode Measurement System.
  • Additional Information: The unit is staffed 24/7/365 with a mix of seasoned and new technologists and does not require on-call shifts. The department is affiliated with an NAEC Level IV Accredited Epilepsy Center for Adults and a NATUS Xltek and Meditech documentation system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
