Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in Manchester, New Hampshire. This position involves performing echocardiography procedures in a clinical setting with a focus on adult patient populations. The role requires a certified echocardiography technician with relevant licensure and experience in ultrasound diagnostics. The schedule includes day shifts working eight hours per day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least one year of experience in ultrasonography. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) is required. BLS certification is also mandatory. A valid New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging licensure is necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with echocardiography procedures such as stress echo, transesophageal echo, contrast echo, and bubble studies. Familiarity with Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works EMR systems.
- Additional Information: The position may require occasional weekend work and on-call shifts from 5 PM to 7 AM. The unit has a team of approximately 12 staff members and performs about 8-9 echocardiogram procedures daily. The environment emphasizes adherence to facility policies and professional clinical standards.
