Description
Job Summary:
The inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located in Missouri. This role involves evaluating, rehabilitating, and supporting patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders according to regulatory and clinical standards. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Missouri, United States, in the city of Mound City.
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) as a Speech-Language Pathologist, active Missouri State Licensure, and at least 1 year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience. Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings is required. Level II experience is needed for new graduates, not just observation hours.
- Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of active Certified Clinical Specialist (CCS) experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to supervise and support CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists. Participation in required meetings, documentation, and adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, ethics, and code of conduct is mandatory. The position does not require weekend work unless a holiday occurs on a weekday, with the possibility to make up hours on the weekend.
