Job Summary:
The Providence, Rhode Island Xray Technologist position involves performing and producing evaluation documentation of diagnostic radiography. The role includes assisting in transporting patients to radiographic rooms, as well as preparing and maintaining the radiographic work area. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position offers a rotating schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Providence, Rhode Island
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: High School graduate, completion of AMA approved X-ray training school, and current licensure as a radiographer in the State of Rhode Island. Current registry with Radiography through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (A.A.R.T.) required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with potential days, evenings, or nights shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications current registry with Radiography through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (A.A.R.T.), licensure as a radiographer in Rhode Island, high school diploma, completion of AMA approved X-ray training school, proficiency in the English language, and no minimum experience required.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting in patient transport and radiographic procedures, with a focus on maintaining compliance with facility standards and protocols.
