Job Summary:
The outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position is located in Napa, California. This role involves providing outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, with occasional exposure to geriatric and neurological patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, with hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The work primarily involves outpatient care, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, with opportunities to float between sister facilities as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license; BLS certification; 1 year of experience required, preferably in outpatient orthopedics or acute care/inpatient rehabilitation; experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient orthopedic experience; Epic charting experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location. Submission requires SSN, DOB, and RTO documentation at the time of application, and only one submission per region is permitted. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required, and vaccination status includes COVID-19 vaccination not required, with flu vaccination status unknown.
- Patient Population & Care Focus: Outpatients with orthopedic injuries, neurological, and geriatric patients; daily census approximately 12 patients; providing services such as evaluation, gait training, post-surgical rehabilitation, and pain management.
- Additional job specifics: Willingness to float, compliance with travel policies, and adherence to hospital policies regarding holidays and staffing.
