Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Pediatrics position available in Peoria, Illinois, at an outpatient facility. The selected candidate will provide pediatric occupational therapy services, serving patients with conditions such as sensory processing challenges, brachial plexus injuries, fine motor delays, and Autism. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Specialty: Occupational Therapist Pediatrics
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with shifts of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on three days, and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on two days; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; active BLS (American Heart Association) certification; pediatric experience of at least 1 year; ability to work in outpatient settings for birth to 18 years old.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience for at least 1 year.
- Additional Information: Experience with outpatient pediatric therapy is essential. There is access to some supervisory support, but onsite supervision may not always be available. Scrubs are acceptable and preferred attire. Facility provides a department-specific orientation with a preceptor. Willingness to wait for license submission. No weekend or holiday requirements unless interested.
