Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technician (General Ultrasound) in Holly Springs, North Carolina. This role involves assisting radiologists in performing invasive diagnostic ultrasound procedures, providing training to residents, evaluating contraindications, and recognizing sonographic characteristics of tissues and structures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with first appointment at 8:30 AM and last appointment at 3:45 PM, for a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program; three (3) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician; RDMS registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with certification in at least one modality specific to the department of hire (e.g., Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Registry of Vascular Technologists); Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification; valid license to practice.

• Additional Information: Candidates must complete all departmental specific Sonographer competencies within twelve (12) months from date of hire, as well as maintain all annual modality competencies and assigned continual education to retain Ultrasound Technician II status.
