Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric care is sought for a position located in Kansas City, Kansas. • Required Qualifications:
  Valid license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with pediatric specialization. Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). No specific education, degree requirements, or years of experience are specified.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience working with pediatric patients and familiarity with pediatric respiratory procedures is preferred.

• Additional Information:
  The respiratory therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, performing treatments such as chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring oxygenation via oximetry and capnography, reviewing chest X-rays, conducting pulmonary studies, and assisting in procedures like bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care. The role requires following all policies related to laboratory testing and performing CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines. Accurate documentation, communication with physicians, and equipment maintenance are essential components of this position.
