Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Griffin, Georgia. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a healthcare setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires the ability to operate ultrasound equipment, position patients appropriately, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. This 10-week contract offers an evening shift schedule and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Griffin, Georgia
- Shift: Evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (32 hours per week)
- Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program. Valid certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC), BLS Instructor, Registered Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or ARRT Sonography Certification. Candidates must possess a valid license and have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Additional Qualifications: Must exhibit excellent communication skills, ability to function independently, work under pressure, and provide excellent customer service. Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and interact professionally with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians. Flexibility with work hours, dependability, accountability, and cooperation are essential.
- Additional Information: The role requires performing technical procedures independently, setting up equipment, and ensuring quality diagnostic studies. The candidate should understand anatomy and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Schedule: Evening shift, Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, minimum of 32 hours per week.
