Description

Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Washington, DC. This role involves performing in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides, dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians, and adhering to quality control and assurance procedures in compliance with hospital and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) standards. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Board Certified (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification; graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program; AA or BS degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited college or university preferred; minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist; advanced registration in PET is a plus. Certifications include Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or CNMT certified through NMTCB.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be gone 1 full year before applying if previously employed as staff, perm, or PRN at any Johns Hopkins facilities. Previous employment in any capacity within Johns Hopkins can be verified through the provided system.
  • Submission Requirements: If a candidate has previously worked in any capacity for any Johns Hopkins facilities, this must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history to verify rehire status prior to offer issuance.
