Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position located in Zachary, Louisiana. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients within a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their Louisiana occupational therapist license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Louisiana Occupational Therapist (OT) License; Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy; no minimum years of experience specified; location in Louisiana; candidate must be licensed in the state.
• Schedule: Day shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires working on an inpatient unit with a patient population consisting of adults and geriatrics. The role involves treatment for conditions such as cerebrovascular accident (CVA), orthopedic issues, and cardiac conditions. Candidates should have experience with electronic health records using EPIC. The assignment may involve splitting time between Medical Surgery (MS) and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Unit Information: The hospital has 80 beds, with 20 in rehabilitation.
