Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Boston, Massachusetts. This position is for an MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Specialty: MRI Technologist
- Shift: Friday 7:30 p.m. 8:00 a.m., Saturday and Sunday 6:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m.
- Hours: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, degree requirements, location requirements, and years of experience as specified (0 years minimum experience).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The MRI technologist will work both independently and collaboratively with radiologists, the lead imaging specialist, the associate director of radiology, and fellow technologists. The role requires sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neurovascular anatomy, head and neck anatomy, and understanding of common head and neck diseases. The position emphasizes providing comfort and safety to patients while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
