Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer position is based in Montrose, Colorado. Candidates are responsible for performing a variety of transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiogram, carotid, venous, and arterial studies within the laboratory. The role requires optimal utilization of imaging modalities to acquire comprehensive tests to the standards of the organization. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Montrose, Colorado
• Schedule: Days, 10 hours shifts, Minimum 40 hours per week, shifts may be scheduled Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Education: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification on hire; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred. Training & Experience: Prefer one year of experience but not mandatory. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Additional Information: The position involves performing transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams, stress echocardiograms, assisting with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) exams, maintaining equipment, and documenting data accurately. The role includes managing workload fluctuations, ensuring patient safety, and performing department-related activities such as patient positioning and transport.
