Description
X-Ray Technologist (XRAY TECH) Morristown, New Jersey
The X-Ray Technologist provides appropriate imaging and supports patient care processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. This role includes maintaining procedure and equipment readiness, assessing safety and patient comfort, and coordinating daily imaging procedures as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NJ State RT License; ARRT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified; graduate of an accredited radiography school; experience in X-Ray Technician roles; ability to demonstrate knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper equipment care; comfort working in the operating room environment; minimum 18 months of experience in the field; experience with GE equipment.

- Additional Information: Performs appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with guidelines; maintains equipment for procedures and assesses safety and patient comfort; monitors for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures as needed; performs other duties as assigned.
