Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position is based in San Francisco, California. The role involves performing routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day of work. This position offers a shift schedule of three 12-hour days, with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM. The assignments may require floating across multiple campuses as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 0800-2030, start times will vary between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM; typically includes one Saturday and one Sunday a month. On-call is not required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State License (required at time of submission); 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist; Certifications including BLS, ARMRIT, ARRT R, and ARRT MR.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience, including a wide range of imaging procedures such as abdominal, brain, breast, cervical, chest, cranial nerves, diffusion, ER/Trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female and male pelvis, extremities, lumbar, MRCP, cardiac, multiplanar reconstruction, myocardium, neck venography, perfusion, peripheral angiography, radiation safety, spectroscopy, spinal trauma, and more.
• Certifications: All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Computer Skills: Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a 7-year work history verification, be vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza, and disclose any background checks or DUI history prior to submission. They should be prepared for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Floating to other campuses may be required based on census.
