Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo position is located in Bozeman, Montana, within a healthcare organization that performs adult cardiac ultrasound procedures. The role involves conducting a variety of echocardiography examinations, including routine and advanced techniques, to assist cardiologists with patient diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:

- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, working variable shifts including weekends, with additional emergent call coverage as scheduled.

- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) or Health Science Program; current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; valid license to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures; at least 6 months of clinical training in cardiac ultrasound or comparable experience; 2 years of experience in post-graduation cardiac ultrasound.

- Additional Information: Perform routine two-dimensional, stress, pharmacological stress, transesophageal, and emergent echocardiography procedures. Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and participate in professional development activities. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Be prepared to handle variable shifts, including weekends, and provide emergent call coverage. Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
