Description
Job Summary: Xray Technologist (X-Ray Tech) Portland, Oregon. This role supports short term acute care services by performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting with patient care needs within the imaging workflow. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Fri (07301600), 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Oregon state license; Basic Life Support (BLS); fluoro permit; ARRT R; prior clinical experience in radiology is required (as indicated: 1 year); fluoroscopy experience/competency as applicable to the role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior charting experience with Epic; prior community hospital experience; prior fluoroscopy studies experience; experience supporting neonates and infants.
- Additional Information: On-call is required (3 call shifts per month). Block scheduling is required. Candidates are expected to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). Reference requirements include 2 references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNA roles, if applicable) within the last 3 years; references may include charge RNs/lead candidates. Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Specific required imaging skills/areas include Extremities; Abdomen/GI Spine/Pelvis; Chest/Thorax; Musculoskeletal; Lower Extremities; Upper Extremities; Surgery/C-Arm.
