Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC) La Mesa, California
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, therapeutic, efficient patient care through individualized assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role supports quality outcomes and collaborates with the care team and additional resources as needed for complex or high-risk clinical situations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating shift coverage with 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is on an as needed basis with a 45-minute response time.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) All Scopes; California Department Public Health Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT); NMTCB or ARRT (N); and ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) for Computed Tomography (CT). Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)). Satisfactory completion of a formal training program in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine technology that meets requirements for the State of California and/or Federal mandated certification, or an equivalent credential. Demonstrated skills in Care Planning, Care Implementation, Radiology, Patient Care, and Patient Assessment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Care Evaluation, Clinical Collaboration, and Advocacy.
  • Additional Information: Provides patient and family advocacy to ensure excellent and satisfying care; performs clinical collaboration in the management of complex, new/unusual, or other high-risk clinical situations. Skills include individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation toward self-identified, holistic, and individualized goals.
