Description

Job Summary:
A Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves evaluating, rehabilitating, and developing treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC), Oklahoma State License, 1 year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience, LTC or Rehab experience, no minimum experience required for new graduates as long as Level II experience is demonstrated (not just Level I observation).
  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, 40 hours per week
  • Additional Information: New graduates are eligible if they have Level II experience and are not limited to observation.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Participation: Involvement in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and required training sessions.
  • Clinical Support: Ability to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • DME & Supplies: Ability to obtain necessary durable medical equipment and supplies per clinical requirements.
  • Regulatory & Practice Standards: Adherence to ASHA and State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
  • Submission Requirements: 1 year of SLP experience, LTC or Rehab experience, Oklahoma State License, CCC certified SLP.
