Description
Job Summary
Endoscopy Tech (ENDO-T) Exeter, New Hampshire. The endoscopy tech supports interventional endoscopic procedures by assisting gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, and general surgeons, as well as registered nurses and patients during care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days (10 hours per day) with call as needed; minimum 40.0 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; New Hampshire medical technician license required (or proof of application upon submission); Basic Life Support (BLS) required (American Heart Association (AHA)); 2+ years as an endo tech required (experience as a healthcare tech, medical assistant, Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), State-Program (SPT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or paramedic is also acceptable, with a minimum of 1+ year as an endo tech); must be listed on the New Hampshire medical technician registry prior to start.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
- Additional Information: Endoscopy tech support for interventional endoscopic procedures; must be separated for 6+ months in order to be considered (permanent, per diem, or contract). Endo tech is needed to assist with scope-related workflow and procedure support as part of daily suite operations.
