Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist (General) Santa Rosa, CA
The ultrasound technologist performs a full range of ultrasound procedures and produces quality diagnostic images. The role includes processing films, preparing records of services performed, adjusting equipment as needed, reporting malfunctioning equipment, and transporting patients to and from the department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights; 8 hours per shift; 40 hours per week.
• Shift Coverage: Weekend rotation required; on-call required if census permits.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer
  • At least 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in an acute care hospital setting
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • None provided.
• Additional Information:
  • Maintains scheduled patient appointments and supports unscheduled patient exams.
  • Works efficiently to manage patient workflow and coordinate transportation to/from the department.
  • Vaccination status for COVID-19 and influenza is listed as unknown.
  • Holiday rotation includes New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with holidays beginning at 7:00 PM the night before and ending at 7:00 AM the day after; only 1 holiday per contract can be requested.
  • Onboarding requirement: completes labs within 35 days of contract signing.
  • Work history verification: 7-year work history verification required for all candidates.
  • Compliance deadline: all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start.
  • Modules: modules are non-billable; an average of 15 hours spent on modules are factored into NBO, and any time exceeding 16 NBO hours is billable; modules are completed during orientation and are recorded through e-learning.
