Job Summary:
The Chicago, Illinois location is seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatric (RT PEDS) care to join the healthcare provider team. The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality patient care, administering comprehensive respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Position: Respiratory Therapist registered (RT PEDS)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Shift: Nights, 12 hours
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
Start Date: 06/29/2026
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist; no minimum years of experience required.
Additional Information: Provides extensive respiratory patient care including operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry and capnography monitoring, reviewing chest x-rays, and assisting with invasive procedures. Performs pulmonary function studies, tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, and participates in laboratory testing and emergency resuscitation according to protocols. Maintains accurate documentation and communicates effectively with physicians and healthcare team members.
