Job Summary:
The inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position is located in a NICU unit within a healthcare facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role involves providing physical therapy services to neonatal patients, including administering tests and treatments, developing realistic functional goals based on patient and family expectations, and utilizing appropriate modalities and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training or similar, valid license to practice physical therapy, high school diploma or equivalent, Florida state licensure, and no minimum years of experience required
• Additional Information: The physical therapist is responsible for administering tests and treatments, developing realistic functional goals based on patient and family expectations, and using appropriate modalities and procedures correctly demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications. The NICU unit has 45 beds with approximately 55 patients. Candidates for ER roles must have CPI certification prior to starting.
