Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient position is based in an acute care hospital located in Mission Viejo, California. The role involves providing patient-centered rehabilitative services to adults and geriatrics across a variety of clinical conditions, including stroke, trauma, cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and other complex disorders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role primarily operates on daytime hours with a schedule that includes a mix of weekdays and weekends as specified.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Will mainly work Monday through Friday, with an expectation to work 3 weekend days within every 6-week schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and California License. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, with acute care experience being a hard requirement and ICU experience highly preferred. Prior experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience withAbove-knees prosthetics, below-knees prosthetics, CVA rehabilitation, and other neurological or complex patient care skills are preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in an acute care hospital with a patient census of approximately 8-10. The position may require floating between units and facilities within the state. Candidates must have a clean California license, LA fire card within the last 30 days, and provide two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years. Mandatory compliance with travel experience, vaccine requirements, and holiday commitments applies. Guarantied hours are provided; the facility can call off once per two weeks.
