Description

Job Summary:
The position of Ultrasonographer General is based in Kennewick, Washington, within an Emergency Room setting. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including scans of neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults, with a focus on areas such as the fetal anatomical survey, abdominal, vascular, and neonatal ultrasound examinations. Candidates are required to bring their valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. This is a generalist ultrasound position with a rotating shift schedule, requiring flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Location: Kennewick, WA
  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact RN license (required at time of submission). Valid Allied license in hand (please ask the Account Manager if unsure). Certifications include ARDMS AB, ARDMS FE*, ARDMS OB/GYN*, and BLS. A minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system. Experience working in ER or neonatal units.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable scanning neonates, infants, and pediatrics for conditions such as intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis. All candidates must include detailed interview availability, including time zones and multiple options to facilitate scheduling.
  • Travel & Certification Requirements: Valid WA or Compact RN license, Allied license in hand. Prior experience at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contract, or registry/per-diem is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination not required; Flu vaccination status is unknown.
