Description

Job Summary: Polysomnographer (POLY) Nights (Medford, Oregon). The role supports short-term acute care sleep studies and related polysomnography services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekends required: Yes, with Friday night shifts extending into Saturday morning. Block schedules required: Yes (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights 18:3007:00; no Saturday or Sunday nights required).
  • Required Qualifications: Must have or be able to hold a Polysomnography license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). EPIC charting experience is required, along with the following specific sleep-study related skills/experience: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Arousal, ASV, Baseline Sleep Polysomnography, BiPAP, Cardiac abnormalities, Cheyne-Stokes, Complex Sleep Apnea, CPAP, ECG, EEG, Full Face, Home Sleep Test, Hospital, Hypopnea, Infection control, Nasal Mask, Nasal Pillow, O2 saturation, Oxygen administration, Patient education, Periodic Breathing, Periodic Limb Movement (PLM), PSG, PSG scoring, ResMed, Respiratory Events, Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP), Sleep Stages, Transient arousals, and VPAP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience.
  • Additional Information: Expected patient ratio for nights is 2:1. Sleep studies are performed; special equipment includes sleep equipment. Interdisciplinary support is available. Candidate flexibility to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals may be required. Sleep specialty certification accepted: either Specialty Cert accepted. Start date: 07/06/2026. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). Return time off (RTO) requests must be submitted up-front during submittal; RTO totaling more than 6 days total or more than 3 consecutive days may delay an offer while approval is processed.
