Job Summary
Xray Technologist Diagnostic Imaging Madison, Wisconsin
The diagnostic radiologic technologist role supports a wide variety of adult and pediatric imaging services by performing radiographic examinations using specialized imaging equipment and technology. The position also includes troubleshooting basic maintenance needs, participating in quality assurance activities, and resolving issues related to image processing and archiving systems. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; minimum 40 hours per week (shift hours: 10).
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (as referenced: ARRT R)
- Education/Training: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (as referenced in the description)
- Licensure: State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience (as stated: 2 years experience required); trauma level II experience (as stated: required)
- Additional requirements (testing/compliance): Pass/Fail testing required with strict passing criteria, including a telemetry exam required prior to start (adult and pediatric exam criteria as provided in the description)
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I and II trauma experience (as referenced: preferred for Level I; required for Level II)
- Additional Information:
- Standby call and holiday coverage may be required.
- We are seeking a diagnostic radiologic technologist X-ray to perform a wide variety of imaging exams on neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients, including (as referenced) adult acute care and pediatric acute care imaging; troubleshoot basic maintenance; and resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving.
