Job Summary
Xray Technologist (Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist X-ray) Madison, Wisconsin. The organization is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide variety of imaging exams across adult, geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric age groups using radiographic equipment and associated imaging technology. This role includes troubleshooting basic maintenance needs, participating in quality assurance activities, and resolving issues related to image processing and archiving. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Evenings; shift hours: 10; minimum hours per week: 40.0
  • Required Qualifications:
    • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
    • ARRT (R)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Education/Certification requirement: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
    • Trauma Level II experience
    • Minimum experience requirement: 2 years of experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Level I and Level II trauma experience
  • Additional Information:
    • Perform diagnostic imaging exams including (as applicable to patient needs and unit workflows) abdomen imaging (supine/KUB, upright, and related views), chest routine and specialized views, extremity imaging, portable/bedside procedures, C-Arm procedures, emergency department imaging, PACS-related workflow support, radiation safety, and preparation/administration of contrast media (as applicable to credentialing and protocol).
    • Special procedures/clinical responsibilities include handling trauma cases and completing work that may involve adult acute and outpatient imaging as well as pediatric acute and outpatient imaging.
    • A pass/fail testing process with strict passing criteria is required, including a telemetry exam prior to start.
    • Standby call and holidays may be required.
    • Flu vaccination is required with medical or religious exemptions only.
    • Travelers may be required to float as needed.
