Description
Job Summary: Washington, District of Columbia Occupational Therapist (Occupational Therapist Inpatient, OT IP). The organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide quality inpatient occupational therapy services as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, administering treatment programs, and accurately documenting patient treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited school; Occupational Therapist (OT) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Lymphedema certification; effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.

- Additional Information:
- Availability to work one holiday if needed.
- Requires detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral and development of age-appropriate plans of care.
- Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments is required.
- Must have work experience (as stated in the posting) and be able to provide occupational therapy services through comprehensive evaluation, program planning, and administration of treatment.
- Must bring an active lymphedema certification (submission requires this certification).
