Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Columbia, South Carolina. The organization is seeking a contract Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include communicating treatment plans and evaluations with the healthcare team and providing updates on patient progress to in-house physicians, including specialty doctors such as orthopedic and hand surgeons. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5 (40 hours per week)
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy; current license for the state where practicing; at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience; at least 1 year of manual therapy techniques
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 1416 patients per day; experience practicing as a physical therapist; experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures
