Job Details

• Schedule: Days; 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Physical Therapist licensure (license to submit: yes)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • None listed
• Additional Information:
  • Inpatient acute care coverage as the primary area, with possible minimal coverage at an additional acute care site
  • Weekend requirement: 2 full weekends per month, with compensatory time during the week; possibility of up to 3 weekends in a 5-week month
  • Holidays are rotated/alternated
  • Orientation is provided with hospital, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and facility procedures/protocols for 35 days depending on acute care experience level
  • Expected patient volume: 1 completed evaluation per hour; if providing daily treatment, expectation is 10 completed treatments in an 8-hour shift
  • Team support includes Physical Therapy Assistants and therapy tech roles
  • Scrub color/uniform: maroon scrubs
  • May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit
  • First to float may be required
  • Charting uses MEDITECH
