Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (Diagnostics Tech or RN), Minocqua, Wisconsin. This position supports diagnostic radiation treatment simulation activities, including creating immobilization devices and explaining procedures to patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) (verification required)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification requirements (as applicable)
  • Experience requirement: 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience creating immobilization devices and explaining procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Department performs CT simulations for radiation treatment planning purposes.
  • Average scans/studies per day: varies (13).
  • Department equipment includes Philips Big Borer.
  • Self-scheduling and block scheduling may be used for simulations.
  • Department has 1 scanner/room.
  • Floating/covering other areas (Nuc Med Echo): no.
  • Department specific orientation is approximately one week (varies).
  • EMR/PACS: Cerner and Eclipse are used.
  • Weeknight/call, weekend/call, holiday/call, and call/standby requirements: no.
